Creative in the Kitchen

Hello everyone, Hannah here with a brand new blog! Here's a fun, unique way to create customized spatulas and other kitchen utensils for your home. You can buy a standardized set of kitchen utensils at your neighborhood supermarket. After your purchase the utensils of your choice, tape off the handle in order to create a clear line for where the paint stops at the end of the handle. Paint three coats of paint onto the handle of each utensil. Next, it's time to cut the decal vinyl. This part is completely up to you, use your digital cutter and your imagination to create your own, unique designs! Once the vinyl is weeded, apply transfer tape to the decal vinyl from the release papers to the painted handle. Lastly, put two coats of dishwasher safe mod podge on top of the painted handle. This project is perfect because the possibilities with vinyl are endless, perfect for holiday and housewarming gifts! For more fun ideas and creative hints from Hope, check out our website.
